Aaaah!!

This week has been nuts so far. Both my girls have upper respiratory junk- they are coughing so much that there is lots of night waking. So, I have been barely making it through each tiring day- not much picture taking or cute stories for you this week, so here are a couple of suggley pics from last week that I meant to post anyway. This was right after they both woke up from a nap- too cute!

Headband love

My friend Lindsey always puts super cute headbands on her girls; I think she hooked me! Here is the evidence of a possible new addiction

V day

Stephen and I had a fabulous Valentines Day (although it was one day late). We went on a gorgeous hike- Echo Valley!
Near the beginning
A little further up
We took a pause at some very cool boulders and Stephen showed off his monkey abilities
No roses for me this year; instead I saw these amazing flowers. They grow right out of the rocks, and only bloom from February to March. They are so bright, we could even see them on the other side of the gorge!

Keeping busy

Here was Jubilee's chosen activity for the morning:

Hope really wanted to help!
Although we didn't let her wash windows, here is a peek at one of her new talents-
eating finger foods!

Creative Blossoms

I have not had much time for crafting lately, and most of my art supplies haven't arrived in our boxes yet. So, I took advantage of a surprise snack request (who can say no to a face like that anyway?) and made the cutest snack I could conjure up:Who knew papaya, apples, yogurt, pb, and 2 green beans could look so good, taste so nice, and satisfy a creative craving all in one!

Present for Daddy

Jubilee and I tried our hands at peanut butter crackers yesterday. They were pretty fun to make, and Jubilee decided we should give some to her Daddy when he got home. She picked the best ones and put them on a blue plate because, "Daddy likes blue."

The she cut a little scrap of blue paper. I wrote a note on it that she dictated. Then, she traced the words with a marker. Check out her fabulous penmanship!

Daddy was greeted with warm smiles and a delish snack!

sweet sleep

Stephen stayed out all night on Sunday night to watch the Superbowl- here are the day after results!
