Starting on the Christmas prep already!!

Today, I did my first Christmas craft of the year- a needle felted nativity circle!

I am really new to needle felting.  This is the first circle picture I've done, and I think my skills could use some improvement.  Overall though, I'm happy with the outcome for a first try!

  1. Cute! Of course I had to go look up a video to see how needle felting is done. Looks like fun!

  2. It is fun! It doesn't take much wool per item either. You can get the wool roving on ebay or etsy for pretty reasonable prices if you wanted to give it a go!

  3. Ask Stephen if he remembers the crafts he did with wool after our visit to Pasu Farms when we were homeschooling. I remember us washing the wool (it really stinks when it is wet!), colouring it with food dye, then having the kids make all kinds of wall hangings with it.
    Yours looks really good!
